British presence on the island of Minorca in the 18th century meant the introduction of a Northern European tradition: the production of gin. The Xoriguer family created the Gin Xoriguer brand, and using gin and alcohol from the farms of the Mediterranean basin, the result was a very distinctive product with great personality that is fully associeated with all of Minorca's festivities.
